Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Age Limit

  • Scooters and Buggies: minimum age 23 years old
  • ATVs: minimum age 21 years old

2. Driver's License for Scooter

To rent and drive a scooter or motorcycle in Greece, the driver must hold a valid driving licence with the appropriate motorcycle category.

  • For 125cc vehicles, a Category A1 motorcycle licence is required.
  • For higher engine capacities, a Category A2 or Category A motorcycle licence is required, depending on the vehicle category and specifications.
  • For European Union licence holders, the appropriate motorcycle category must be clearly indicated on the driving licence.
  • For non-European Union licence holders, a valid motorcycle licence from their country of residence may also need to be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP), unless their national licence is recognised in Greece under applicable law or international agreements.

Please note that the required licence category must correspond to the vehicle being rented. It is the driver's responsibility to present valid and legally accepted driving documents before rental.

3. Driver's License for ATVs / Buggies

To rent and drive an ATV or buggy in Greece, the driver must hold a valid Category B (car) driving licence.

  • For European Union licence holders, a valid Category B licence must be clearly indicated on the driving licence.
  • For non-European Union licence holders, an International Driving Permit (IDP) must be presented together with their original national driving licence. However, some countries are exempt under applicable Greek law and international agreements and may drive with their valid national driving licence only (such as the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, New Zealand, South Africa, Albania, and some other recognised countries).

Please note that all driving documents must be valid and legally accepted in Greece at the time of rental. It is the driver's responsibility to present the appropriate documentation before vehicle collection.

4. Insurance

4.1 Basic Insurance

Basic insurance is included in the rental price and provides third-party liability coverage in accordance with the applicable insurance terms. In the event of an accident where the Renter is at fault, damages to third parties are covered, while the Renter remains fully responsible for any damages caused to the rented vehicle, subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

4.2 C.D.W

With C.D.W. insurance, in the event of an accident where the Renter is at fault, third-party damages are covered in accordance with the applicable insurance terms. The Renter remains responsible for a deductible ranging from €600 to €5,000, depending on the vehicle category. Any remaining damage costs beyond the deductible amount are covered by the insurance policy, subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

4.3 S.C.D.W

By purchasing the Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW), the renter's financial liability is further reduced compared to the standard Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). The renter is responsible only for the lower deductible amount specified in the rental agreement, while any repair costs exceeding this amount are covered by the insurance policy, provided that all terms and conditions of the rental agreement have been complied with.

5. Minimum Rental Period

One (1) day = twenty-four (24) hours

6. Taxes

Prices include VAT 24% and residence fee 0.5%

7. Traffic Terms

The Renter is solely responsible for any fines, penalties, or charges arising from violations of traffic laws or regulations during the rental period.

8. Fuel Policy

The Renter is required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as the time of delivery. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the Renter shall be charged for the difference at the applicable rate.

9. Mileage

The renter is entitled to unlimited mileage, provided the vehicle is used strictly within the geographical limits of the island where the rental originates.

10. Passenger Limit

Each vehicle is permitted to carry a maximum of two (2) passengers. In the event that more than two passengers are transported, the company reserves the right to terminate the rental immediately without any refund.

11. After-Hours Pick-Up & Drop-Off

Vehicle pick-up and drop-off services requested outside the Company's standard business hours are subject to the following additional service charges:

  • 07:00 – 08:59: €10
  • 21:30 – 23:59: €10
  • 00:00 – 06:59: €20

The applicable after-hours service charge will be added to the rental agreement.

12. Off-Road Use

The vehicle must not be driven on any type of off-road terrain, including dirt roads, beaches, fields, rocky areas, trails, or any other unpaved surface. Failure to comply with this condition will result in a €500 penalty charged to the renter.

13. Vehicle Condition

The renter agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition as it was received, subject to normal wear and tear.

14. What Is Not Covered by Any Insurance

  • Damages due to traffic law violation
  • Damages due to inappropriate driving or negligence
  • Damages caused because the driver was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Damages caused by an unauthorized driver
  • Damage to the engine by wrong fuel
  • Damages caused because the vehicle was used off-road or on inappropriate roads
  • Damages caused after the agreed return time

15. Key Loss

In the event that the Renter loses the vehicle key, the Renter shall be responsible for covering the full cost of the replacement.
